this is what i was talking about when i said i'd been impressed by kristen scott as an actress, and why girlfriends casting her as a shy-to-the-point-of-inertness virgin was such a waste. she's great here, which isn't unusual, since performers routinely do good work for missa x, but she has to sell an emotional roller coaster, and she does it well, picking up the slack in bree daniels' performance. that slack is there, but only really in the dialogue, which bree never sounds convincing delivering. but her emotional responsiveness and sexual performance is great, especially given the whacking great handicap at the center of the scene.

because it's a futanari scene, which is the dumbest fetish in a world where trans women exist. bree has to pretend that she's feeling sensation in a plastic penis, kristen has to pretend that it's responding to her touch, and while they both do a fine job, heroically maintaining the established emotional connection throughout an endless blowjob scene, it's never believable. i'm blaming the premise rather than the performers, which is why the script gets such a low score even though the dialogue and emotional underpinnings of the scene were better than 90% of other porn, as usual for missa x.

also as usual for missa x, the cinematography is wildly variable. the reliance on natural light means that the scene is never lit consistently, since the cameras frequently change angles: some angles look stunningly beautiful, while others are washed out or dingy. the cameo filter over every missa x scene, meaning that the edges and corners of the screen are artificially darkened in an attempt to manufacture moodiness, is the thing i hate the most about missax (the site) and all her luv. it's not always awful, but when shots aren't balanced on the center of the screen, it's the visual equivalent of nails on a chalkboard.

i'm taking the rare step of assigning a negative value to the sjw score, because using plastic toys and fake semen to pretend that a cis woman has a penis in order to fulfill the fantasy of the entirely fictional construct of futanari is just hugely offensive to trans women and intersex people. i know i'm not supposed to kinkshame, but some kinks are bad and the people who have them should feel bad and also should take an interest in actual people instead of burrowing solipsistically into hentai.

and yes, by the way, trans women are women, so trans woman/cis woman porn is girl/girl porn, and some of it will be reviewed here.
