the whole shebang

scene title:  easter egg-gasm performers:  scarlett sage, shyla jennings site:  all her luv (missax) production credits:  missa x (dir., ed., scr.) trailer l: scarlett sage, r: shyla jennings if the last allherluv scene was the most complex, emotionally mature, and dramatically complete scene we've seen all month (thanks to writer-director whitney wright), this piece of holiday-themed fluff is entirely its opposite: a silly premise featuring two women playing well under their actual age, with no particular shape to the story, no narrative payoff to several seeds planted, or any complex emotions at all. which is fine: not every porn scene needs to be in contention for the palme d'or, and scarlett sage and shyla jennings are probably the two girl/girl stars most suited to playing up a silly premise with no real acting, but a great deal of sexual enthusiasm, necessary. what their relationship is supposed to be is never spelled out in the scene, bu...

scene title:  the chat room incident performers:  india summer, shyla jennings site:  all her luv (missax) production credits:  missa x (dir., ed., scr.) trailer l: shyla jennings, r: india summer i have to admit i was a little bit disappointed when this popped up as the next update on allherluv: shyla and india have been paired together four times in the last five months on the site (not to mention once on girlsway in the same period), and as a fan of variety, i'm a little put off by the missa x model of production, which is to shoot several scenes with the same performers over the course of a day or two. i get why she does it that way, since it's the most efficient way to use the performers who fly out to wisconsin to shoot for her sites, but it does mean that when it's a pairing i've seen several times before, i start out with a slight grudge against it. but this scene overcame that. i've written here in favor of zippy editing before, but i actu...

scene title:  i dare you performers:  shyla jennings, samantha hayes site:  when girls play  ◅  twistys (mindgeek) production credits:  none listed trailer l: samantha hayes, r: shyla jennings shyla jennings is almost thirty. here, she plays an eighteen year old, as she has for more than ten years and presumably will continue to do until she retires from the business. i mention this not to shame her for taking roles that her chirpy voice, short stature and still-fresh face allow her to, but to condemn the industry for having so many eighteen-year-old roles to cast her in and so few that allow her to play her actual age and level of experience. not that she's such a fool as to pretend to not know what she's doing, regardless of what the script says: virginal fumbling isn't erotic. but i'm old and weary enough that neither is the idea (let alone the reality) of an eighteen-year-old. teenagers, as a rule, aren't interesting people. they don't k...
