i'd been waiting for the other shoe to drop, for mofos' girls gone pink brand to display just how soul-crushingly awful it can be, and here we go.

but i want to be clear: very little of how terrible this scene was was the fault of the two performers at the center. adira allure and lasirena69 are new to porn as of this year, but they're already highly skilled professionals with excellent chemistry and maintain solid sexual enthusiasm despite the sophomoric bullshit surrounding them.

because the scene is supposedly set in a dorm room among college students, and there are three men in the room (one of whom is holding the camera) before the two of them even arrive. a lot of girl/girl consumers have a hard-and-fast no dudes rule, and would rate this scene low or even disqualify it outright because there are men in it. i'm not so squeamish, and i understand what the mindgeek pencil-pushers are going for: a scene that emulates the girls-gone-wild vibe of semi-viral college stunts represented online by the #difs (do it for state) hashtag among party schools.

i wouldn't enjoy the source material (i always prefer professionals), so i didn't enjoy the incessant bellows of "do it for the state" (a repeated error of syntax which both indicates how far removed from college culture everyone involved is and also suggests an orwellian scenario in which the government takes a prurient interest in lesbian sex) or the continued interruption of the performers' activity by a jackass who keeps acting like he's going to touch them but (because this is a professional porn production) doesn't.

the camerawork is painfully shitty, of course, in keeping with the premise, and the set is just as grubby and awful as a real men's dorm would be (except of course for the enormous bed). the "party" lights that are set up to suggest some kind of interesting lighting mostly just make everything look all the more tawdry and gross. yes, i'm aware that all this means that the uncredited makers of this scene successfully pulled off what they were going for; i just don't think what they were going for was any good. but i will gladly follow adira and lasirena in their future girl/girl efforts, they impressed me so much here.
