i think i've mentioned here before that i'm skeptical at best of the stepmother-stepdaughter genre of girl/girl porn. not that incest or pseudo-incest isn't a standard and even classic subgenre in the erotic canon; but the unresolvable tension in the internet era between catering to the fantasies of mommy-daughter fetishists and staying on the right side of the united states penal code (not to mention the discomfort of many performers and producers with the topic) makes for awkward and half-baked fantasies that rarely lean into the cultural taboo, have no time to develop believable character relations, and has been so overproduced for the last half-decade that there are never going to be any new or unexpected approaches to the material again.

the premise of this entry in the long-running and only occasionally interesting since about 2016 mommy's girl series is a standard one in the incest-erotica genre: daughter discovers incest-fantasy porn that mom has been writing, gets turned on, and encourages mom to make her fantasies a reality. i've seen it a hundred times in text format, and adding visuals did little to make it more compelling.

still, alina and london are both solid actresses when given an objective, and were able to improvise their post-discovery interaction with a greater degree of believability than they had when trying to portray a normal character-establishing stepmother-stepdaughter interaction in the opening scene. i especially enjoyed london's insistence that it was only a fantasy, she wasn't a predator, and that it took alina pressing the issue to make her agree to take it further. the sex was great: they are both top-tier pornstars. alina's famously long tongue and flexible limbs superbly complement london's professionalism and stamina, and her appreciative dirty talking is endlessly charming.

the filmmaking is much more awkward than the performances, full of forced perspective, weird gaps in composition, and ungainly framing, and the color-corrected palette is full of too-hot reds and bleached whites. all of which is to say that it's a laudable attempt to maintain the visual style established by stills by alan. i did enjoy seeing visually interesting sets i haven't seen on girlsway before, which is one nice thing about director shuffling; but i'd prefer to see either casey calvert (who i adore) or eli cross put their own visual stamp on the material, as cross did with emily willis' showcase.

fuck stills by alan, here's to more casey and eli, hopefully with better premises and more distinct directorial identities.
