a dorcel girl/girl scene is always an occasion for conflicting feelings for me.
on the one hand, it's shot spectacularly: lighting, makeup, costuming, decor, all the production values are at a very high level. and dorcel hires professionals who are good at what they do: here the veterans anissa kate (french of algerian heritage) and tiffany tatum (hungarian) induct the newcomer angelika grays (ukrainian) into a vaguely submissive sexual relationship, where the submission is shown more by costuming than action. it looks ravishing from beginning to end.
but on the other hand, there is often no dialogue (or when there is, it's in french, untranslated), it's generally a showcase for toys (always from dorcel's own line of handsome, expensive sex toys) rather than more creative intimacy, and it's almost always quite short: this scene doesn't break the eighteen-minute mark, having been edited to within an inch of its life to capture the most high-gloss poses and erotic moments, cutting from position to position without a word from the participants.
which isn't necessarily a bad thing: if more porn took its viewer's time into consideration, the short clips on free tube sites might not be so wildly popular. but without a narrative focus (the most story we get is that anissa walks in on the other two already in progress), the choppy editing feels not purposeful but haphazard. i believed every second of the sex, because the performances were that good, but i never believed that there was a reason for the sex that didn't boil down to a man with a camera.
