paper street media, which owns megasite team skeet, mylf, and some dozen further porn properties, seems to be trying to position itself as a sort of low-rent mindgeek, pumping out volume content in established niches. since my only interaction with them is with the two girl/girl brands (team skeet's dyked and mylf's mylfed; other paper street sites very occasionally feature girl/girl scenes), i have limited data, but from what i can see they have a long way to go before they can compete with mindgeek in terms of quality control.
this is one of the worst-shot scenes i've seen all month. although i typically appreciate handheld cameras over stationary ones, a handheld camera operator who doesn't know how to frame a shot or capture action is worse than useless: you get all the benefits of motion sickness without any of the immediacy. the lighting is bland and unflattering to both women, the set is dull and generic, and the editing drags everything out so much that the ten minutes before the sex begins feels like an eternity. maybe some people would find watching diamond foxxx make a cup of tea or cleo clementine take a shower (both in real time) impossibly fascinating; i did not.
i am not super familiar with either performer, so maybe i missed some nuances of their performances here: but they never convinced me that they were playing anything but porn performers going through the motions to get to the sex (and often enough during the sex). not that the scenario, featuring diamond as a homemaker who welcomes in cleo as a student trying to get away from a creep who gets caught in "rain" that is very obviously a hose spraying outside the door (because it never rains in southern california), called for a whole lot of acting prowess. they certainly didn't waste any on it. diamond, who has been around long enough to be a veteran without ever becoming a legend, is experienced enough to do a solid job "introducing" cleo to lesbian sex, but while i have no reason to believe they didn't enjoy themselves, the passion on display rarely rose above the level of professional courtesy.
and in the bathroom scenes you can clearly see the camera operator in a mirror that is reflected in the mirror over the sink. try harder, for god's sake.
