oh, hey, a spizoo scene with a scenario.
not that it's much of one. woman fucks plumber is just behind woman fucks pizza boy as one of the hoariest porn setups. and this runs through the paces in an even more desultory fashion than most. eden sin (best wishes for her recovery) doesn't attempt to be convincing about discovering a bad smell in the sink; once jenna foxx arrives as a plumber with very dangly earrings, the overall acting prowess ticks up a couple notches, but it's a relief when the awkward attempts at small talk end and the sex begins.
the sex itself is only okay; eden (who i've never seen before) seems tentative and even inept, while jenna (who i've seen lots from and really enjoy) is smoothly professional. there's still virtually no communication or attempt to keep the scenario up (eden is meant to be paying for jenna's services with sex, so why is jenna the first to go down?), and it's difficult to get into any rhythm when the camera just stares at the back of someone's head.
because this is the most incompetently and even hideously-shot scene i've seen all month, from the glowing bright windows and dark wood cabinets making every shot a gravity well of light, blown out above the counter and totally obcured below, to camera angles that seem to be chosen for maximum awkwardness and ugliness. a child with a flip phone could compose better shots, and ten minutes spent on lighting could have done wonders. even the audio was terrible, a dry hum of room tone the constant accompaniment throughout.
for the purposes of this project, i've limited my reviews to mainstream porn sites, ignoring clip sites or performer websites because i wanted a baseline of decent production values. but there are much better-produced scenes on clip sites and performer websites. (jenna foxx's own website, foxxedup.com, has published better-made content this month.) i like spizoo's collectivist, performer-first model in theory, but hiring a camera guy is no substitute for having an actual director.
