i'm having to play a bit of catch-up here, as i didn't realize that kink had a trans girl/cis girl brand until i was well into the month, so i might say things about kink in later posts which don't fit this scene. caveat lector.
thanks to the dungeon setting, i was bracing myself for a certain amount of extreme fetish play, because it's kink, but some light flogging with clothes still on was the extent of the bdsm here; otherwise it was simply a straightforward sex scene, and one that both participants seemed to truly enjoy. which is a bit sad, that the mere act of enjoyable sex involving a trans woman is still considered so transgressive that it shows up on kink right alongside hogtying, speculum-gaping, and whipping.
there was a pretense towards narrative: jessica and arabelle are dommes who have been stood up by whatever guy had hired their services, so arabelle offers jessica the chance work out her (not very credible) irritation on her. that narrative soon fell by the wayside. jessica occasionally remembering to tell arabelle what to do was about the extent of her domming, but arabelle's expressive enjoyment of everything she did more than made up for it. i've not encountered either of these ladies before, but i found them both charming (jessica has the sort of dry wit that i particularly associate with trans women of color), and would like to see them in something with a more lavish budget.
because kink's bare-bones shooting style is only barely adequate. the set looks great, but the stiff camera, dull compositions, and dreary, repetitive angles make the lighting and color do all the visual work. neither performer seemed to be particularly well-served by the camera. of course, my main point of comparison is the high-glam transfixed, but even basic cis girl/cis girl porn takes it as a given that the camera's first job is to make the girls look good. this felt like the the camera's only job was to make sure the viewer knows they're having sex. that's not enough for me anymore.
