the last time i reviewed a scene featuring mia lelani, i said that if the baseline for competent porn was that good, the industry would be in much better shape. the baseline for competent porn, however, is much closer to this.
an excruciatingly prolonged setup in which none of the people involved act like people actually would, clothing that nobody who isn't in a porn would be caught dead wearing, sexuality introduced not because it arises from the situation but because it's a porn so it has to, a generic upper-middle-class setting that for some reason still echoes like a warehouse, the premise entirely abandoned after thirty seconds of over-the-top moaning, ridiculous positions on the most uncomfortable possible surfaces that go on forever, choppy edits that only draw attention to themselves, and to top it all of you can even fucking hear the camera guy breathing.
someone was very proud of themselves for writing the lines "but i'm straight!" "so is spaghetti, until it's wet," and they shouldn't be. they should be laughed at whenever they show their face in public. in any case, neither brooklyn gray (who is brand-new but doesn't seem like it) nor mia lelani (who doesn't seem like she's been in the business for thirteen years, but has) attempt to make the sex anything but the standard porn idea of a hate-fuck that turns into a "more more i need more" fuck. i wouldn't presume to assert that they weren't actually experiencing orgasms (believe women!), but i feel comfortable guessing that if they weren't being filmed their orgasms might express themselves differently.
the filmmaking is crude and amateurish, as is typical with the mylf network of sites featuring women in their thirties having unimaginative sex for unimaginative reasons. hooray for women in their thirties getting work, period. but search-term-driven categorization will be the death of this industry.
