the last time katana kombat appeared here, she was in charge of the scene with kenna james; this time the roles are reversed, as nicole aniston takes confident charge here and directs the action in smart and engaging ways. i haven't taken much opportunity over the years to enjoy nicole aniston's work (partly because she primarily does boy/girl), but she's a classic old-school pornstar, familiar with her angles and professional to the hilt.

the very slight premise is wholly unconvincing, and even a bit nauseating, as the two of them enact a fluffy fantasy of simpering femininity that at least has the decency to be silent (set to dorky electronica) and brief. why two grown women would be undertaking this silly holiday ritual is a question so impossible to answer that the scene doesn't even try to, instead asking the viewer to accept the fantasy and move on. once the clothes begin to come off and they can use their natural voices, the "tee hee hee" "oh, you!" affectations go away as well, and although the easter basket mostly remains in the shot because it's still glamour porn and a reminder of the premise is necessary (although the bunny ears magically vanish early on), their performance of sexual chemistry is enough to keep the attention.

i quite liked the filmmaking here: it was an interesting choice to use muted saturation on such a colorful set, but it helps to keep the white walls from overwhelming everything else. i'm pretty sure it was directed by holly randall, but without credits or social-media reports i can't say for sure; whoever directed it mostly had a great eye for composing the shots and the editor had a great eye for keeping it moving. but it rarely moved beyond serviceable: my own nostalgia for turn-of-the-millennium glamour porn is probably bumping up the score a bit here.
