the premise, that kacie is seeing a therapist because of intrusive sexual thoughts and imagines her shrink making her a sexual slave, is rather a hackneyed one in written erotica, but bdsm is so little touched on in girl/girl porn (because the male audience who just wants to see pretty girls being pretty together is squeamish about it; women tend to like it a lot more) that it can ring as novel here. sinn has clearly read that erotica, and uses its tropes extensively in dialogue even while the actual action is minutely staged and choreographed (because kink).
for once the big jarring cuts between set pieces didn't seem out of place narratively, because it's all supposed to be kacie's fantasy; but the filmmaking was still pretty mediocre, well-lit and colorful but so painfully literal-minded and poorly composed that i could wish any company with an actual budget would do girl/girl bdsm that enters into the psychological angle with more than a wavy special effect.
